Honest Security Advice Many insurance companies insist on minimum standards for external door locks. Generally, this means a minimum requirement of a five lever lock on a wooden door and at least three locking points on a upvc door. If your front or back door is operating on an old three lever lock - give me a ring! Your home insurance may be at risk if you have not complied with the insurance company requirements.
